Hi! I am Shrawan Singh, 26 years old and working at DevRepublic as Sr. SQL Developer. As a SQL developer I work on the database side of the application, or under the hood. My skills are mainly developing questions and discovering problems. I am also involved in performance improvement.

I haven't been working at DevRepublic very long, I started in August 2021. What I really like about working at DevRepublic is the company culture and the team feeling. In this way I learned a lot about the various projects and especially those of the .NET colleagues.
I am most proud of a recent release in which the database was no longer accessible, but I quickly found the solution. I also regularly manage to improve the query performance with more speed. That is always nice, for me and the customer.

Soon I hope to physically meet my mine, because because of the mandatory working from home, that hasn't happened yet. I do miss the team feeling in that regard, but I'm sure that will work out in the future.

DevRepublic is the first company where I have direct contact with people from another country, but that experience is really fantastic. The Dutch team is very good in every part. In that respect I hope to be able to work here for a long time and maybe in 3 to 5 years I will grow into a Database solution architect! 😊

Outside of work I am often on my motorcycle, I like speed and have a 400CC KTM motorcycle. I also regularly play badminton.
